The New Wiccan Church - Canada (NWC - Canada) is neither a tradition nor a coven, but is a professional and service organization by and for members of branches of British Traditional Wicca. The goals of the New Wiccan Church - Canada are the preservation, protection, and promotion of British Traditional Wicca and its traditions.

The NWC-Canada provides services and information to its members, other Wiccan initiates, and the general Wiccan and Pagan community. It serves as a voice for the British Traditional Wiccan community in Canada.

Established as a church in May 2024, the NWC - Canada is a Branch of the New Wiccan Church - International which was established in 1973. As such ALL NWC - Canada members are also NWC - International members. One cannot be a member of the NWC - Canada and NOT be a member of the NWC - International, yet not all NWC - International members are NWC - Canada members.

The NWC - Canada provides a communications and mutual aid network among British Traditional Wicca. It creates avenues through which members may share teachings and other material, in a licit and honourable manner in accordance with each member’s understanding of their oaths. It provides opportunities for members to experience the different styles of practice that fall within British Traditional Wicca. The NWC - Canada encourages the teaching of British Traditional Wicca and aiding of Elders, as well as the offering of outer court ceremonies and social gatherings to the general Wiccan and Pagan communities.

The NWC- Canada preserves and maintains the heritage of our various traditions by promoting study and research in all related fields.
